Thankfulness

Today, I’d just like to thank God for the many blessings in my life. So often, I get so busy that I do not take the time to praise God in the way I should. Last night before bed, I stopped to look out of the window and although it wasn’t the first time, I took a moment just to recognize the beauty of nature. There was a beautiful bird at the lake’s edge. The sun was just beginning to set and the reflection of the sun on the water was just breathtaking. I see this beautiful scenery every day, but yesterday it was brand new. I believe this is due to my re-commitment to God and truly surrendering all to him. God opened my eyes yesterday, which allowed me to see the beauty all around me. I am just so thankful for everything.
